Aussies

opals of australia     South Australia is known as the Festival State for the many events and fairs that occur throughout the year. The three week Adelaide festival is the most noted of these and it demonstrates Australia's rich culture and diversity. The city of Adelaide is a well-planned and compact city. For the wine lover, a trip to the Barossa Valley should be on one's itinerary as it is home to some of Australia's best wines. The cuisine and culture of the Barossa Valley still has an influence from the German Lutherans who planted the first vineyards here.

kangaroo and her joey     At first glimpse, one may be fooled by Coober Pedy as many of the buildings (including hotels) of this small mining town are "dugouts" built underground. It has become famous for the stunning opals that can be found here. Prospectors must buy a permit before searching for this unique gemstone. At Kangaroo Island you can explore admidst hundreds of sea lions, kangaroos, koalas, and other native wildlife. As this is South Australia's largest National Park you may want to spend more than a one day visit here.

To truly grasp the rich culture and diverse beauty, each region has to be experienced.  Isn't it about time that you had a vacation?   When you are ready to make a reservation, check our current specials our ordering page, or contact us for a quote and let  Australia New Zealand Pacific Specialists, Inc.  customize your South Pacific trip of a life time.
